Arjuna slams the Curator on Asia Cup defeat

Arjuna Ranatunga, the former cricket captain and chairman of the National Sports Council, says that due to the defeat of the Sri Lankan team in this year's Asia Cup, a lot of people are blaming the team for not being enough, but they are not blaming the people who built the turf
Ranatunga expressed these comments at the launch of the book Super Innings of Super Players written by journalist Sarath Jayasinghe.

'Those who built the wicket have never been given such amount of money. The player who was the hero of the match also gave money. I would like to give this money to someone like this without stealing it. But I will direct the question to the media. No one talked about this. Changed the rules of the game. No media talked about it" Arjuna added
It is the media that takes the game to the village. But today, some of the media have taken steps to cover people who are doing wrong because of the benefits they get. The media is protecting the people who are ruining the sport in this country. why is that? Because of the media benefits. Or because of the money received by the media. We don't expect that from the media. I have a very happy day. Because the cricket audit report was submitted to Parliament.
