DBA’s new skipper, Dhananjaya de Silva, with his brilliant spells, led DBA to a 20-run victory over BLK, taking 4 wickets for just 6 runs. Earlier, BLK won the toss and invited DBA to bat first. For DBA, Avishka Fernando and Sadeera Samarawickrama got off to a good start in the match by scoring 61 runs in a partnership for the first wicket. Avishka and Sadeera scored 41 and 31 runs, respectively. However, DBA managed to score 162/7 in 20 overs. Nuwan Pradeep took 3 wickets, and Mujeeb Ur Rahman took 2 wickets for BLK.
In reply, BLK batter Dinesh Chandimal scored 50 runs, but it wasn’t enough to chase the target. In the end, BLK could only manage to score 142 runs, being all out. DBA reached the top of the table.
Dambulla Aura team wins the match against B-Love Kandy by 20 runs.
