Lucknow Super Giants secured a seven-wicket victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2023, thanks to a brilliant half-century by Prerak Mankad and a fiery knock by Nicholas Pooran. Sunrisers Hyderabad put up a respectable score of 182/6 in 20 overs, with top knocks from Heinrich Klaasen and Abdul Samad.
However, despite their efforts, Lucknow’s spin all-rounder Krunal Pandya proved to be the pick of the bowlers, taking two wickets for just 24 runs in his four overs. Although the Sunriser’s batters failed to convert their starts, Klaasen’s 29-ball 47 was the highest score of the innings.
