CSK vs LSG, MATCH 45 -TATA IPL 2023: Match abandoned due to rain at the Ekana

Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings were unable to complete their Indian Premier League match due to heavy rain at the Ekana Stadium, resulting in the teams being forced to share points. The Chennai Super Kings had made 125 for seven in 19.2 overs when rain interrupted play, and despite the home team’s Ayush Badoni scoring an unbeaten 59 (33 balls; 2x4s, 4x6s), the middle-order batter was the only standout performer in an otherwise lackluster game.

Moeen Ali (2/13) and Maheesh Theekshana (2/37) impressed for Chennai by making early inroads, but the game was ultimately called off after the minimum five overs of the CSK innings weren’t possible due to the persistent rain.
