Christopher Clark joins Sri Lankan team as new physio

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has hired a new physio from England, it is reliably learnt.
According to the well-placed sources in the SLC, Chris Clark will join the national team for the upcoming India tour. He has replaced Australia-born Brett Harrop, who has returned to New Zealand to join the national team.
The 47-year-old Australia-born Clark has worked with several cricketers and counties in England. He also worked with the Sri Lankan team in the past.
He is a Sports Physiotherapist, Specialist Rehabilitation & Injury Management, Strength & Conditioning expert.
On India tour, the SLC will also send Shirantha Niroshana as a computer analyst replacing Prad Navaratnam, whio has sought a short break.  
 
The players are scheduled to begin practicing at the R. Premadasa Stadium from Tuesday. The physio and the other foreigners, who went to their hometown during the LPL season in Sri Lanka are scheduled to arrive in the next 24 hours. 
 
The team is set to leave on 31st December. 
 
The composition of the team is likely to be 20 players for both formats of the game. Hemanatha Wickraratne may be the selector on tour. 
 
Sri Lanka will play 3 T-20Is and three ODIs’ on this tour.
