As 18 member Emerging squad has been finalised for the upcoming tour against England. The team will feature many talents picked from the recent Major Emerging Club Tournament and National Super League.
Two captains have been named where former Sri Lanka U19 captain Nipun Dhananjaya will lead the red ball team and National Cap Dhananjaya Lakshan will lead the white ball team. Schoolboy talents such as Dunith Wellalage and Yasiru Rodrigo, who played the Under 19 World Cup earlier this year and still represent their school teams, are also included.
