Dhananjaya Dominates West Indies With Century

Dhananjaya De Silva made an unbeaten 153* runs today and together with Lasith Embuldeniya, put a century partnership for the 9th Wicket in the 2nd Test against West Indies.

He scored his 8th Century in Test cricket and Pathum Nissanka was also among the runs as he scored his 5th half century early in the day. He was dismissed at 66 and DDS took over the batting. Sri Lanka put 328 runs on the board for the loss of 8 wickets.

Ramesh Mendis and Lasith Embuldeniya chipped in with 25 each and the latter is not out, looking to bat tomorrow and assist Dhananjaya in a possible double century milestone. Veerassamy Permaul was once againt the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets.

Play will resume tomorrow in the final day of the 2nd Test.
