Punjab Kings (PBKS) registered their second victory over Mumbai Indians (MI) in the IPL2021. Chasing a target of 131, PBKS managed to cross the winning target by loosing one wicket only. PBKS Skipper KL Rahul scored 60 runs from 52 deliveries and Chris Gayle scored 43 runs from 35 deliveries to take their side home.

Earlier, Rahul won the toss and elected to bowl first. MI posted a total of 131/6 in their 20 overs. Rohith Sharma scored brilliant half century.
Deepak Hooda got one wicket where as Mohammed shami and Ravi Bishnoi picked two wickets each.
This is MI’s third loss of the season. They are in fourth place after a comprehensive loss to PBKS.
