The LPL inaugural match has over 100 million views
It is reported that a record number of sports fans from all over the world have watched the inaugural match of the Lanka Premier League Cricket Tournament which was held yesterday (26).
According to US satellite technology data, more than 100 million sports fans around the world watched the match yesterday.
The first match of the season was played between Angelo Mathews’ Colombo Kings and Kusal Janith’s Kandy Tuskers.
Colombo Kings won the toss and elected to field.
The spectacular opening ceremony of the pre-match Ceylon Premier League Cricket Tournament also attracted many.
