T-20 World Cup is due to run from 18th October to 15th November at venues. However no International cricket has been played since 13th March when Australia beat New Zealand in a behind closed doors men’s one day International in Sidney.

International Cricket Council (ICC) hinted five days ago there was signs of possibility that Australia could host the event as schedule. Australia Cricket Chief further added the ICC are having meetings as we speak. “It a bit hit of moving feast at the moment. We are but forward to number of different options to the ICC that we are working through.” he added.

Meanwhile Cricket Australia had no sooner difficulty to host  T-20 World Cup than the Board of Control for  Cricket in India (BCCI) camp up unofficially to fresh date for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 which already postponed two times due to Corona epidemic. India social media announced IPL will stage from 26th  September to 8th November.

This tentative deadline will be followed subjected to the postponement of the T-20 World Cup in Australia .

IPL Governing Body Chairman Brijesh Patel

However still no decision on the venues for IPL. Meantime IPL Governing Body Chairman Brijesh Patel said to Indian media, the IPL venue first preference still in India provided the situation impress in next 30 days ,The IPL can be hosted closed doors ,can be limited to play fewer venues can be taken to overseas can be even played with out International players .

However this is certainly proves the intent of the BCCI all tells that the Indian Board is disparate to organise IPL all they are ready to make compromises.

The only roadblock to Board’s intent currently is the T-20 World Cup. Both Sri Lanka and UAE shown their interest to host this postponed IPL
