Two players Mahesh Anuruddha and Ruminda Rukshan will take part a the 2018 World Unifight championships which scheduled to held from 11th to 19th in Kalaga Rigen city in Russia. International novices Unifight Association will conduct this tournament where all the leading players are expected to take part this tournament.
Uditha Pieris the Manager of the Sri Lanka Unifight team said this world be the best change to two Sri Lanka players to get more exposure. Unifight is newly formed sport Associaton and this game include army training events such as very difficult and hard and also martial Arts but this is now going to be very popular among the new generation.
Sri Lanka Navy and Naval college Education were introduced this newly sport which already get good support from the Sports Ministry. Uditha Peiris also said the sport like this very difficult to popular from the beginning but today we are very happy the Unifight players get ready to take this type of International tournaments .
