Inter-University Rugby Championship goes to Colombo for the third consecutive time.

The University of Colombo team succeeded in winning the championship at the Inter-University Rugby Tournament for the third consecutive time.

The tournament’s final match, played recently at the Thimbirigasyaya Police Grounds, was contested between the University of Colombo and the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The Colombo team emerged victorious with a score of 18–16.

By the end of the first half, the University of Colombo team had already established a 10–5 lead.
