The crucial meeting to select the players for the Lanka Premier League Twenty20 cricket tournament, which has become an international brand known as the grand Sri Lankan cricket festival, will be held today (1) at 1.30 pm at a five-star hotel in Colombo.
There are 421 players included in this draft, out of which 179 Sri Lankan players and 242 foreign players have qualified. The players have been classified into several categories based on their strength, namely Platinum, Gold, Classic and Rising Stars.
