Imesha Dulani named ICC Player of the Month list

Sri Lankan cricketer Imesha Dulani is among the nominees for the International Cricket Council's (ICC) Women's Cricketer of the Month for April.

Imesha has been nominated by the ICC for her performance in the Sri Lankan team's tour of Bangladesh. Along with Imesha, South Africa's Laura Wolvaard and Brazil's Laura Cardoso have been nominated for the award.
The 24-year-old Imesha scored 116 runs with two half-centuries in the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh, and was also named the player of the tournament. Imesha also scored 101 runs with a half-century in the T20Is.

Laura Wolvaard excelled in the ODI and T20Is against New Zealand. She scored 138 runs with 69 runs each in the two ODIs, and 303 runs in the five T20Is, with a century (115) and three half-centuries.
Laura Cardoso, who has scored 203 runs in 7 matches with 2 half-centuries, showed outstanding performance in the T20Is, taking 9 wickets for 4 runs against Lesotho, which included a hat-trick.
