IND v UA – Match 03 | ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026

The United States of America chose to bowl first against defending champions India in the third match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
India had a steady start to their innings. Captain Suryakumar Yadav led with a brilliant unbeaten 84, helping India post a competitive total of 161 runs. For the USA, Shadley van Schalkwyk was the standout bowler, picking up 4 wickets for 25 runs.
In reply, India’s bowlers delivered a disciplined performance and kept the USA batters under constant pressure. Sanjay Krishnamurthi and Shubham Ranjane were the top scorers for the USA, with 37 runs each. But the USA only managed 132 runs in 20 overs, falling short of the target. India secured a comfortable 29-run victory.
For India, Mohammed Siraj (3 wickets) led the bowling attack, while Arshdeep Singh (2), Axar Patel (2), and Varun Chakravarthy (1) also contributed.
