Pakistan squad for 2026 T20 World Cup announced

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced a 15-member squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, to be held in Sri Lanka and India from 7 February to 8 March.

Salman Ali Agha will captain the team, with several players including Faheem Ashraf and Sahibzada Farhan earning their first call-up for a major ICC event.

The PCB noted that Pakistan will play all group matches in Sri Lanka under the ICC ‘Fusion Formula’.

Pakistan will begin their campaign against the Netherlands on February 7 in Colombo, followed by matches against the USA, India and Namibia.
