Sri Lankan surfer Ramesh J. Haller won the Open International Men's Championship at the 2025 National Surfing Championships organized by the Sri Lanka Surfing Federation.
Australian athlete Crystal Jade Davis won the women's championship. The Weligama and Mambos surfing clubs performed outstandingly in the tournament.
The tournament, which was postponed due to bad weather, was held at the 'Main Point' in Hikkaduwa yesterday. While Lakshitha Madushan won the second place in the men's open international category.
Australia's Keller Waite won third place. The women's second place went to Russia's Anna Tikhonova, and third place went to England's Anna Watson.
