The official handover of the captains of the two teams, Sri Lanka and Pakistan, for the 2026 ICC Men’s Twenty20 World Cup, scheduled to be held next month, was held at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium before the start of the fist t20 match between two teams.

The Pakistan team will play its first match at the SSC Stadium on the 7th of next month, and the ticket for that match was presented to Pakistan team captain Salman Agha.



Sri Lanka will play their first match on the 8th of next month at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka was presented with a ticket for the match against Ireland.
