The Lanka Premier League (LPL) has appointed West Indies legend Chris Gayle as the Brand Ambassador for its upcoming 2026 season.
Known as the “Universe Boss,” Gayle is expected to add star power and global appeal as the league makes a comeback after skipping 2025.
Since its debut in 2020, the LPL has become Sri Lanka’s top T20 tournament, showcasing both international stars and local talent.
