All arrangements have been made to host the Sri Lanka Badminton (SLB) Novices Championships 2025 between 28 September and 2 October at three selected venues in the Ratnapura District.
The five-day grand competition for novice shuttlers has already drawn a large number of young and aspiring shuttlers from all parts of Sri Lanka.
Events will be held simultaneously at the Deshabandhu Lt. Col. W. Wimaladasa Indoor Stadium in Kuruwita, Sabaragamuwa Province Indoor Sports Complex, and Sivali Central College Indoor Stadium, with the latter two venues both situated in Ratnapura.
The event includes competitions for shuttlers of the age categories of Under 19, Under 17, Under 15, Under 13, and Under 11. The vast number of shuttlers will compete in boys’ and girls’ singles, as well as doubles under junior events.
The open event for shuttlers of 14 years and above includes singles and doubles competitions for Men, Women, and Mixed categories.
