The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has reportedly signed a new title sponsorship agreement with the Emirati multinational logistics company, DP World, for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025.
As naming rights partner, DP World will obtain premium branding rights, including the tournament’s official name, the ‘DP World Asia Cup 2025.’ As Asia’s top cricketing event returns to the United Arab Emirates in the T20 format, organisers are once again welcoming DP World back to the centre stage, having previously served in the same capacity for the 2022 tournament. This trademark will be used consistently throughout all official platforms, including television broadcasts, digital media, merchandise, promotional campaigns, and more. The company’s logo and name will be incorporated into all major visual elements of the tournament.
Furthermore, DP World’s logo will be prominently displayed at the venues hosting the games. This includes branding on LED perimeter boards, pitch-side ads, player dugouts, trophy presentation backgrounds, behind-the-wicket commercials, and other strategic locations throughout the arena. The company’s logo will also be seen during toss, presentations, and matchday signage.
The reported arrangement, first announced in-detailed by SportsMint Media, demonstrates trust in the tournament’s growing reach and influence, particularly given that the India-Pakistan match is projected to draw record viewership and commercial revenue.
The pact builds on DP World’s acclaimed sports partnership portfolio, which comprises the McLaren F1 team, Betway SA20, ILT20, the Ryder Cup, Delhi Capitals, and the ICC.
The Asia Cup 2025 is scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates from September 9 to 28. Matches are set to take place in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Eight teams will play, including full members India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan, as well as qualifiers UAE, Oman, and Hong Kong.
