Ananda test Donz till last gasp
D.S. Senanayake College survived a huge scare by Ananda College yesterday (22) as the Donz pulled off a nail-biting 22-18 win at Ananda Grounds Rajagiriya in the final day of Week-3 in the inter schools rugby league.
Ananda was leading 18-14 until the last few moments of the game but DSS fought back to prove their worth coming into the game as favourites.
At half time the D.S.Senanayake College led 14 (2T, 2C) whilst Ananda College were trailing at 10 (1T, 1C, 1P).

Pathana cruise through Rajans
Isipathana College maintained their tag as one of the favourites in the league as they thumped Dharmaraja College 32-19 in their own backyard in the hill capital. The match was played at the iconic Nittawela Rugby Stadium.
The defending league Runners-up and reigning Knockout Champions Isipathana ‘Green Machine’ were leading 20 (4T) against the Rajans 5 (1T) at the short breather.
The lads from Havelock Town scored 6 tries to bag the all important bonus-point as well.
