Shreyas Iyer and Yuzvendra Chahal shone as PBKS beat CSK by 4 wickets in their IPL 2025 match at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Chahal’s hat-trick stole the limelight from Sam Curran’s 88 off 47 balls in the first innings as PBKS bundled out CSK for 190 after opting to bowl first.
Curran’s knock included 9 fours and 4 sixes with CSK looking all set to cross 200 at one stage but Chahal’s four-wicket over turned the tables. He bowled the 19th over and claimed all the four wickets in it. The leg-spinner returned figures of 4 for 32 in three overs.
In the chase, Iyer slammed 72 off 41 balls with the help of 5 fours and 4 sixes to seal the victory for PBKS. Prabhsimran Singh’s 54 off 36 also helped the team’s cause.
