Imran U-19 Football Head Coach

Sri Lanka football appointed Former Sri Lanka footballer and Saunders Sports Club player, Mohamed Imran, as the new Head Coach of the Sri Lanka Under-19 Football team by Sri Lanka Football.

The 48-year-old,a product of Zahira College Colombo is also the current Head Coach of Zhahira College Imran played for Saunders SC for 10 years from 1995 to 2005, captaining the club from 1998 to 2000. He also represented the Sri Lanka national football team from 1995 to 2004, serving as vice-captain from 2000 to 2004.

Imran has a strong history as a leader, having captained the Sri Lanka Schools Team and the Sri Lanka Under-23 Pre-Olympic Team in 1999. Additionally, he played professional football in both India and the United Kingdom.
