Sri Lanka Coach Mickey Arthur will part ways as he will end his term with the conclusion of the Test Series against West Indies. He will take up the role as head Coach of Derbyshire CCC.
“Sad that it is the end of the road with SL after the WI test series! I have loved every minute of coaching this great country! To the players and people of SL a big thank you! I know SL cricket is in a better place now than when I started!” was what he said on Twitter.
Many Sri Lankan players have also wished him on their social media with heartfelt messages. It is uncertain as to who will fill this void following Mickey Arthur’s departure from Sri Lanka cricket.
