The 24th International Schools’ Athletic Championship (ISAC 2026), hosted by Gateway College, will take place on February 21–22 at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium, Diyagama.
First held in 2001 at Shalika Grounds with limited facilities, ISAC was established under the guidance of the late R. I. T. Alles, founder of Gateway College. Since then, the championship has grown into the premier sporting event in the international schools’ calendar, showcasing the athletic talent of students from 22 leading international schools across Sri Lanka. Over the years, ISAC has played a vital role in strengthening competitive school sport and has built a lasting legacy that continues to contribute to the development of athletics in the country.
