Australia started the match with confidence, but they lost their captain Travis Head very early. After that, Josh Inglis (37) and Cameron Green (21) attacked the bowlers and scored quick runs. Matt Renshaw added 37 runs.

In the final overs, Marcus Stoinis’s powerful 45 runs helped Australia reach a strong total of 182 runs in 20 overs.

Ireland began their chase with bad luck. Their captain Paul Stirling got injured and left the field. Soon, they started losing wickets quickly. The Australian bowlers were too strong. Nathan Ellis bowled brilliantly and took 4 wickets. Adam Zampa also took 4 wickets with his spin.

George Dockrell tried to fight back for Ireland, but he did not get enough support from other batters.

Ireland were all out for 115 runs in 16.5 overs. Australia won the match comfortably by 67 runs.
