The 2026 Formula 1 pre-season testing has begun at the Bahrain International Circuit, marking the first major on-track activity under the sport’s updated technical regulations.

The F1 Aramco Pre-Season Testing consists of two separate three-day sessions, scheduled from 11–13 February and 18–20 February, giving all 11 teams valuable track time to evaluate their new cars and power units ahead of the season opener.

Drivers and team personnel arrived in Sakhir this week as anticipation builds around the performance of the redesigned cars. These sessions provide crucial data on reliability, aerodynamics, and setup, as teams and drivers look to maximize performance before the 2026 championship gets underway in Australia next month.

Pre-season testing serves not only as a vital technical exercise but also as the first glimpse for fans worldwide of the next generation of Formula 1 technology. Public access is available on selected days, with tickets and hospitality packages offered at the circuit.
