India creates history with a win Over Australia In Women’s World Cup Semi-Final

Jemimah Rodrigues hit an unbeaten 127 to help India pull off a record ODI chase of 339 against Australia in a thrilling second semi-final of the Women’s World Cup on Thursday. Rodrigues and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, who scored 89, put on 167 runs for the third wicket as India won with nine balls and five wickets to spare at the DY Patil Stadium on the outskirts of Mumbai. Amanjot Kaur hit the winning boundary to trigger wild celebrations in the Indian camp, with smiles and tears of joy in the dugout. India will face South Africa in the final at the same venue on Sunday, as the 50-over marquee tournament is set to crown a new champion.
