Sri Lanka Survive Big Scare, Beat Hong Kong By 4 Wickets

Sri Lanka overcame a number of hiccups to beat minnows Hong Kong by four wickets in their Asia Cup 2025 Group B clash in Dubai. Chasing a target of 150, Sri Lanka kept losing wickets at regular intervals.

However, a superb 68 by opener Pathum Nissanka and a late 9-ball 20 unbeaten cameo by Wanindu Hasaranga helped them get over the line.

The victory takes Sri Lanka to the top of Group B on four points, making them favourites for Super Four qualification. On the other hand, Hong Kong end their Asia Cup without a single point, losing all three matches
