Matheesha Wijesekera of Royal College, Colombo won the boys' championship at the 36th National Junior Squash Tournament organized by the Sri Lanka Squash Federation, while Nethmi Wickramasinghe of the Women's College won the girls' championship.
In the Under-19 Boys' final held at the Tmalana Air Force Squash Complex, Matheesha defeated Royal College's Tharul Pinwatte 11/4, 11/7 and 11/7.In the girls' final, Lindsay Girls' Ranlea Wood lost to Nethmi. Royal College's Kemitha Hapuarachchi won the Emerging Player of the Tournament award.
