Maliyadeva Girls’ College, Kurunegala won the overall championship of the Milo Schools Netball Tournament organized by the Re Lanka Schools Netball Association for the third consecutive time.
Maliyadeva players won both the Under-19 and Under-15 championships in the final matches held yesterday under floodlights at the Maligapitiya Stadium in Kurunegala.
While the overall championship of the tournament was won by Maliyadeva Girls of Kurunegala with 55 points, the overall runner-up after 8 years was Musius College with 40 points
Tissa College, Kalutara and Hillwood College, Kandy, secured joint third place with 20 points each.
