Sri Lanka Finishes as Asia Rugby U20 Men’s 7s Runners-Up Following Final Loss

The Sri Lanka U20 men’s rugby team has finished as the runners-up in the Asia Rugby Emirates U20 Men’s 7s, following a 33-00 loss to Hong Kong China in the Cup Final today.

The Tuskers had an impressive run throughout the tournament, which began on August 9th. Their journey to the final included a flawless group stage performance with victories against Hong Kong China (24-19), India (24-5), and the UAE (26-24). They then secured a spot in the final with a Cup Semi-Final victory against China (26-17).

Despite the final result, the team’s performance throughout the competition highlighted their skill and teamwork on the international stage, making the entire nation proud.
