The carrom finals of the 13th Defence Services Games 2024/2025, organised by the Sri Lanka Army, were successfully held on 28 July at the Carrom Federation of Sri Lanka in Colombo.
The tournament concluded with exhilarating performances, underscoring the growing competitiveness and high standards of carrom within the Tri-Services.
The competition was conducted in two segments, featuring participation from three women’s teams and three men’s teams competing for the championship title.
In a historic achievement, both the Men’s and Women’s carrom teams of the SLAF emerged as Champions for the year 2025, marking a significant milestone in SLAF carrom history.
The SLAF players delivered exceptional performances throughout the tournament. This remarkable accomplishment marks the first occasion in the history of the Defence Services Games that both the Men’s and Women’s carrom teams of a single service emerged as champions, highlighting SLAF’s growing dedication and excellence in the sport.
