Two athletes who represented Sri Lanka at the International Senior Athletics Championships held in Singapore arrived at the Katunayake Airport this afternoon (17) after winning 05 medals.
This tournament was organized by the Singapore Senior Athletics Association from the 11th to the 13th of last month with the participation of senior athletes from 12 countries around the world.
There, Thuraisamy Vijinth won a gold medal in the hammer throw event and two silver medals in the discus throw and 5,000 meter race walk events.
Manivel Satyashilan also won a gold medal in the 5,000 meter walk and a silver medal in the 1,500 meter run.
