Motor racing sensation Yevan David took his fourth race win of the year following a sensational start from P3 on the grid to lead from the first metres and set multiple race fastest laps in the third and final race of round three of Euroformula Open in Hockenheim, Germany recently.
David built a five-season lead over his opposition and was unfazed by the appearance of rain or a safety car period which evaporated his advantage.
He made good at the restart to take the chequered flag by just under a second from his nearest rival.
David set fastest laps in each of the weekend’s three races and left Hockenheim with an 18-point lead in the championship standings.
