Punjab Kings (PBKS) secured a top-two finish and a Qualifier 1 berth with a superbly-executed run chase to beat Mumbai Indians (MI) in IPL 2025.
In what was a ‘winner takes all’ contest, PBKS chased down a total of 185 with 1.3 overs to spare, as Josh Inglis made 73 and Priyansh Arya slammed 62.
Earlier, Suryakumar Yadav had top-scored with 57 to take MI to 184/7 in 20 overs. With the win, PBKS rose to the top of the table and will play the Qualifier 1 at home in Mullanpur. (
