With semi-final hopes on the line, Delhi Capitals opted to bowl first. Suryakumar Yadav’s brilliant 73 guided Mumbai Indians to a total of 180/5 in 20 overs. For Delhi Capitals, Mukesh Kumar (2), Dushmantha Chameera (1), Mustafizur Rahman (1), and Kuldeep Yadav (1) claimed the wickets.
While chasing the target, Mumbai Indians put Delhi Capitals under pressure and restricted them to 121 in 18.2 overs, giving Mumbai a massive 59-run victory. Sameer Rizvi was the top scorer for Delhi with 39 runs. Mitchell Santner and Jasprit Bumrah took 3 wickets each for Mumbai.
