Chasing 180, CSK were down at 60/5, but a 22-ball half-century by Dewald Brevis, including 30 runs off one over against Vaibhav Arora, swung the game in CSK’s favour. Shivam Dube and MS Dhoni made good contributions to guide CSK home.
CSK debutant Urvil Patel also shone with a fiery 11-ball 31. Earlier, Noor Ahmad picked up four wickets while Andre Russell smashed a 21-ball 38. The defeat means reigning champions KKR can now reach a maximum of 15 points, and need a mathematical miracle to qualify
