The Ministry of Sports approved the five-member Selection Committee for Sri Lanka Athletics, headed by Upali Kumarasiri.
A retired national athlete and former DIG, Kumarasiri, an alumnus of Isipatana College, previously served in this role and has been reappointed to lead the committee for the 2025-2026 term.
Sarangi de Silva, a former National long jumper, is the only female member of the committee.
