The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) board will send the U-19 team to England next month, it is learnt.
According to the London-based ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board) sources, the SLC has agreed to send its team for a month-long tour which is to begin from August 14. On this tour, Sri Lankan U-19 team will play two four-days games and three ODIs.
Both boards are yet to announce the tour itinerary.
The SLC is yet to announce the final squad but a pool of about 26 players have begun training at the R. Premadasa Stadium.
